Festive fun was unwrapped for for Grade R learners of Alpine Primary School on Wednesday last week as Liberty Promenade Mall hosted them at the centre’s Duncan indoor sport arena for their annual Christmas party.

The learners had an all-access pass to the play area and jumping castles and got to meet Father Christmas, enjoy lunch and were given sweet treats.

According to staff of Alpine Primary, it was an enjoyable and memorable outing as learners had the opportunity to enjoy climbing walls, jumping castles, building blocks and face painting.

Dorothea Wright, Liberty Promenade’s general manager, says this annual year-end party is always one of the highlights on the mall’s event calendar.

“It is with a sense of sincere and profound pleasure that we are able to host this children’s Christmas party as part of our annual corporate social investment give back within the Mitchell’s Plain community.

“Few things personify the joy of the festive season quite like seeing our little ones bouncing about on a jumping castle,” she says.
