Listen to jazz for China trip

2017-11-07 06:00

The public is urged to support a fundraising jazz evening hosted by the Maart family in the Holy Cross Church hall, District Six on Saturday 2 December.

Entry costs R50 per person.

All the proceeds will be used to pay for their son Liam Maart’s trip to China in December. He and other learners will be representing Groote Schuur High School from Rondebosch.

The family needs to raise R10 000 of the required R15 000 to pay for his travelling costs.

His mother Nawaal Maart says: “Attending the fundraising event will help us raise the needed funds. Your support will be greatly appreciated. We are grateful for the opportunity and want to make sure that he goes.”V For more information contact Nawaal Maart on 072 675 8587 or 082 299 0187.
