The Lansdowne Police Station in conjunction with the local Community Policing Forum (CPF) will host their fourth imbizo for the year, on the evening of Tuesday 4 December.

The public gathering aims to hold the police accountable for service delivery, to raise issues of importance, and for residents to learn more about crime in their communities.

The Lansdowne police precinct includes Rylands extensions three and five, Mountview, Penlyn, Belthorn, Rustdale, Glen View, Crawford, Lansdowne, Nerissa, Eden Klein, Buckingham, Yorkshire, Turfhall Estate, Ottery, Wetton, Kenwyn, Rondebosch East and the Lansdowne corridor.

Residents of the above-mentioned areas are urged to attend and to share ideas for improving the community.

The gathering will take place at 20:00. The venue is currently being finalised and will be announced soon. For more information, call the Lansdowne Police Station on 021 700 9050.
