Local football fans around the city gathered to feast on a football extravaganza during the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League when Heineken brought its Unmissable campaign at the Lookout at the V&A Waterfront on Tuesday 16 April.

March was a big month for football lovers when the Unmissable campaign was launched in proper premium style when Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs and the official Champions League trophy tour graced Mzansi.

One such “unmissable” event was the event that treated the who’s who of Cape Town to a one of a kind match viewing experience.

Football legends Steven Pienaar, Nasief Morris were in attendance alongside Cape Town City FC footballers – Thabo Nodada, Gift Links, Edmilson Dove, and Ajax Cape Town FC players Thendo Mukumela, Harold Majadibodu, Gerald Phiri.

Renowned Guinness World Record freestyler Khris Njokwana was also in attendance.

Manchester United might have lost, but the knockout didn’t feel as painful thanks to the setting.

The line- up also continued to curate an even greater unmissable experience, Dj Lloyd had everyone cutting a rug throughout the evening.

Keep an eye out for more unmissable moments, with the ultimate experience being brought to life with the Final on Saturday 1 June.
