Blue Route Mall hosted its annual charity market on the last weekend of October.

From the Friday to Sunday various charities received the opportunity to create awareness and raise funds for their causes at the shopping centre.

As part of the charity market, Blue Route Mall partnered with Wingz, a community-based and registered non-profit organisation. Visitors were encouraged to donate feminine hygiene products in aid of the NGO Wingz, whose main objective is to provide feminine hygiene products to women in need.

Blue Route Mall would like to thank the following charities for participating: Al-Noor Orphanage Centre, Family Federation, Four Paws, Heavens Shelter House, Lions Club of Tokai, Nazareth House, Sarah Fox Children’s Hospital, Tears, the Cape of Good Hope SPCA, the Care Company Benefit Trust, the Sunflower Fund, the Wheat Trust, Western Province Blood Transfusion Services and Woodside Special Care Centre.

The shopping centre’s staff realise that all the customers who visited the centre over the weekend helped to supported them.
