An elderly man was arrested in Eastridge on Saturday 12 October after it was suspected that he was selling liquor without a licence.

At 17:40, Mitchell’s Plain police designated liquor officers executed a search warrant at a house in Kringhout Street.

While searching the premises, police found a chest freezer with beers.

Police confiscated 72 Black Label and 70 Castle Lager beers.

The total liquor confiscated was 106,5F. Police arrested a 65-year-old man on a charge of dealing in liquor without a licence.
