Kalk Bay Business Association will have its annual general meeting at The Pavilion, Brass Bell, Main Road, Kalk Bay on Friday 22 February. The meeting will start at 08:30.

This annual meeting is once a year and everyone is encouraged to attend.

The meeting will also give insight for those attending on what the business association has been doing over the last year.

Guest speakers this year are from Cape Town Tourism and they will be presenting on the theme: ‘Create, Connect, Collaborate’.

One of Cape Town Tourism’s speakers is a business rescue coach who will be giving those attending ideas on how to drive more customers to your business and position your business to grow.

Kalk Bay Business Association consists of a committee of people who are all business owners in Kalk Bay.

Jo Adams, manager at Kalk Bay Business Association, says they are committed to the growth of all Kalk Bay businesses. “Together we are stronger in keeping the character of the Kalk Bay that we all know and love. The manager and committee do all the hard work – you only have to attend once a year and have your say – easy,” she says.

“The business association has made positive inroads this year and you will have noticed the safety and security aspect over the festive season for one, is greatly improved.

“As you can imagine, the more business owners and managers who attend the annual meeting the better. There is huge value in the Cape Town Tourism presentation for your own business – you really don’t want to miss out.”
