Sinothando (Sino) Kayline Pietersen, a 16-year-old learner from Hout Bay, has been found.

She was reported missing by her mother, Geraldine Pietersen, on Wednesday 24 July.

Missing persons group the Pink Ladies reported Sinothando (Sino) issued a Missing Child Alert this morning (6 August).

Sino’s mom said she was extremely relieved.

“We found her in Delft this morning and she is being taken to my mother’s home in Delft. I am going to fetch her tomorrow morning (7 August),” she said.

Warrant Officer Henry Abrahams of Muizenberg Police Station's family violence, child protection and sexual offences department confirmed that Pietersen contacted him this morning to inform him that her daughter had been found in Delft.
