Mobilising against crime

Ocean View police station management in conjunction with the Community Policing Forum (CPF) and neighbourhood watches will be hosting a community mobilisation against crime at the Multipurpose Centre in Ocean View today (Tuesday 5).

The meeting will be chaired by Advocate Lennit Max, former police commissioner of the Western Cape who is the current advisor to the Minister of Police. The meeting will start at 19:00. The purpose of the meeting is to encourage communities to mobilise in the fight against crime. The organisers request all community members including NGO’s, leaders, community structures and civil society organisations to attend.
