Muizenebrg High School (MHS) officially launched one of the biggest cricket projects as part of the 120th year legacy on Saturday 2 March.

For those involved in the project it appeared as only a dream. However, it has become a reality thanks to a partnership with Sports Skills for Life Skills (SS4LS).

SS4LS is a non-profit organisation (NPO) that helps students in previously disadvantaged areas to enhance their talent in sport, but also gives them a chance to obtain tertiary education. MHS has already benefited through the continued commitment of various role-players who are willing to make financial contributions and sacrifice time and effort for the greater good of future leaders.

This is a long-term project which will have a direct impact on the learners as well as the broader community around the school.

Their vision is to develop great cricketers as well as leaders that will contribute meaningfully to the South African society.
