Manenberg police have arrested six men, aged between 30 and 47, on Wednesday 23 June in a drug bust valued at R10 000 when 38 packets of tik, already concealed and packaged, were seized.

Manenberg police spokesperson Captain Ian Bennett says the crime prevention unit was conducting patrols when they received information of drug dealing in Thames Avenue. The information led police to a Wendy house where they found six men, two of which were packaging tik.

In another incident, police arrested a 40-year-old man for the possession of and dealing in tik and dagga. Police on patrol in Heideveld received information regarding a suspicious person dealing in drugs at an address in Winterberg Crescent.

Police siezed 25 packets of tik, 16 sticks of dagga and a half mandrax tablet.
