Police are urgently seeking assistance in locating three suspects allegedly involved in house break-ins since April.

One of the suspects has been depicted in an identikit supplied by police, and is wanted in connection with a robbery on 29 April.

According to the police statement issued, the victim was returning home from having dropped the children off at school, when three men entered her home after her, robbing her of her wallet, clothing items in the house and shoes.

Grassy Park police station commander Col Dawood Laing asks that the community be vigilant at all times, calm and non-threatening in these situations.

“Do not threaten or challenge the perpetrators,” said Laing. “Try to get as much information as possible without posing a threat.”

Local police are further appealing to the broader community to get involved in the reward system, which allows any adult to become pro-actively involved in the prevention of crime.

“Phone the police as soon as possible after the robbers have left the scene,” Laing implores. “Note any specific identifying marks on the getaway vehicle and facial identikit of suspects.”

The public can contact Det Sgt Vuyo Gumenke on 021 700 3950 with information that will lead to the arrest of suspects.
