Police hunt for suspect

Police have released the identikit of one of the men who stormed a home and robbed a Maitland resident.

Maitland police spokesperson, Constable Lorencial Johnson, says the incident took place in November 2016, when during the early hours of the morning, a group of men stormed a home in Maitland and held a woman at gunpoint.

“They climbed through a window and a female resident was home.”

Johnson says one of the men was armed and the men took a cellphone, cash and clothing before fleeing the scene.
