Police nab woman with drugs

A 32-year-old woman from Hanover Park was arrested by Lansdowne police for being in possession of drugs on Wednesday 25 September, at 19:00.

The officers were tipped off by the community, about a suspect whom they thought might be in the possession of drugs. The police responded and arrested her in a parking lot. Officers reportedly found 120 small units of heroin and two packets of heroin that weighed 40 grams in her possession.

The street value is worth R15 000 each. She was arrested and charged with being in the possession of drugs and will appear in the Wynberg magistrate’s court once the investigation has been finalised.
