Lansdowne police are seeking the public’s help in apprehending two suspects for a house break-in that occurred in November last year. The incident took place at a residence in Searle Street, Rondebosch East at 03:00 in the morning while the homeowners were asleep.

“The complainant explained that he was sleeping when he heard his daughter screaming and went to check. He came across an unknown coloured male walking through the kitchen door, who then jumped over the wall and fled with household appliances and other items with a total value of R32 000,” says Sergeant Nkululeko Mnyaka.

An identity document, which is believed to belong to one of the suspects, was found lying on the floor inside the house. A photo from the resident’s property camera has also been provided to police. No arrests have been made as yet.V Anyone with information is urged to call 021 700 9000 or 082 576 2804.
