Police arrested an alleged drug dealer in Lentegeur on Friday.

Visible policing officers constables Virgil Rossouw and Andre Gouws were attending to complaints and doing patrols in the Lentegeur policing precinct just after noon when they spotted a known dealer in Viooltjie Street.

The man was on a motorbike when they stopped and searched him.

They found tik, mandrax tablets and dagga with an estimated street value of R20 000 on him. The 58-year-old man was arrested on charges of drug possession.
