Residents called to clean up Woodstock

2016-09-20 06:00

The Upper Woodstock Residents Association (UWRA) is hosting a Spring Clean-up Day on Saturday 1 October.

They are calling on residents in the area to volunteer and join them on the day to pick up litter in the neighbourhood.

This event will also provide an opportunity for a variety of Woodstock stakeholders to connect as supportive members of the greater Woodstock community, while at the same time having a direct positive impact on the neighbourhood environment.

The organisation is working with the Woodstock Improvement District, the Salt River Neighbourhood Watch and GreenPop to make this event a success. Bags and gloves will be provided.

To be part of this initiative be at the Capitec parking area (corner Mountain and Victoria roads) from 09:00.
