Mitchell’s Plain police are appealing to the community for help in tracing suspects who were involved in an armed robbery at a house in Southern Cross Street, Rocklands on 25 September at about 12:40.

It is alleged that the victim was travelling with his friends from a mall after he withdraw a large amount of money from a bank.

On his arrival at home a silver Renault with registration number CF 861596 stopped in front of his car.

Five suspects got out and threatened him with firearms.

One of the suspects pulled the victim out of the car and took R18 000 in cash before the robbers fled the scene.

A case of armed robbery was opened.
