Police are calling on the public to assist them in tracking down a possible suspect in connection with a recent business robbery in the Grassy Park area. A case was opened at the Grassy Park Police Station on Thursday 18 January after an assault and robbery at Adu’s Convenient Shop in Old Strandfontein Road, Eagle Park.

According to reports, four to six males entered the local store before assaulting the owner and robbing him of R6000 cash and cigarettes.

The suspects assaulted the owner by hitting him over the head with a firearm, before fleeing the scene in a black Volkswagen Golf. A description of one of the suspects has already been circulated within the
