Member of Parliament, Ricardo MacKenzie, hosted a lunch for 100 seniors from New Lentegeur on Thursday.

The event was also supported by ward 76 councillor Goawa Timm.

“This purpose of the lunch was to appreciate our senior citizens and recognise them for the hard work they are doing in our communities. Some of these retired individuals also contributed greatly to our society and their wisdom is always appreciated given the challenges we experience in our communities. I also want to wish the readers of your newspaper a merry Christmas, a joyful festive season and a prosperous 2019,” says MacKenzie.
