Steep walk to caves

The Fish Hoek Valley Historical Association’s event for July is an educational walk to Peers and Tunnel caves. Tourist guide Clive Stadler and archaeologist and Peers Cave specialist Dr Jayson Orton will accompany the group on Thursday from 08:00 to noon.

Meet at the car park between the buildings at Fish Hoek sports grounds, off 21st Avenue.

Walking boots are recommended.

The walk is considered difficult and steep and participants are advised to bring water.

Complimentary refreshments will be available at the start and finish.

To participate members pay R20, non-members R50.
