Swipe to park at Point Mall

A new app is set to make parking hassle-free in Sea Point.

If you’ve ever wasted precious time looking for a misplaced parking ticket, or been held up at a pay machine that is out of order or keeps rejecting your money, then you will appreciate the new card-free, cash-free parking system at the Point Mall in Sea Point.

Shoppers can now download the WizzPass app onto their smartphones.

On entering the parking lot, ensure the WizzPass app is open on your phone, then swipe to open. The boom will automatically lift to allow you entry. The same procedure can be followed when exiting. The parking cost will automatically be deducted from your debit or credit card.

The app does not require an internet connection to work, and works on both Android and iOS phones.

The WizzPass parking system also uses the 3D secure code process verified by Visa and MasterCard, so bank details are securely encrypted.

V Download the app at wizzpass.com/paidparking/.
