Tafelsig boy (14) stabbed with scissors

Police are asking for information on the murder of a Tafelsig teenager.

Mitchell’s Plain police were called to Sentinel Street on Monday 30 October at 12:30 after they heard about a stabbing.

It is alleged that the 14-year-old boy had an argument with a 19-year-old man in the street when the man stabbed him with a pair of scissors.

The boy was stabbed twice in his back and died at the scene.

The motive is believed to be gang-related. No arrests have been made.V Anyone with information on the stabbing is urged to call detective Constable Ashley Campbell on 082 777 8076.
