Hundreds of competitors embraced “The Grind” at Hillcrest Wine and Olive Farm over the weekend.

The inaugural event attracts proper athletes, corporate fun-seekers, fitness enthusiasts and run-of-the-mill adventurers to complete an obstacle course.

There were different categories that varied from 1km to 8km – some containing seven obstacles and others 30.

Splashing, running, climbing, hanging and pulling were just some of the copious grinding that will undoubtedly become bigger and better, year on year.
