Thousands of runners from across the country joined locals in celebrating the culture and heritage of Mitchell’s Plain at the 11th annual JP21 Mitchell’s Plain Titans Race held in Rocklands at the weekend.

People’s Post was the official media partner of the race, with other sponsors including the City of Cape Town, Western Cape Department of Arts, Culture and Sport, Boxer Superstores, Total Sports, Peninsula Beverages, Smile 90.4fm and Liberty Promenade Mall.

The event saw 5km, 10km and 21.1km races with runners from far and wide, of all shapes and sizes, competing.
