Two truck trailers outside a well-known packaging company in Diep River caught fire on Monday afternoon (9 October).

City of Cape Town’s Law enforcement spokesperson Wayne Dyason says they responded to a report of an explosion in the Diep River area.

“On arrival, officers found two truck trailers with no horses attached on fire in the parking area outside a well-known packaging company.”

He says the fire was extinguished by the City of Cape Town’s Fire department.

“No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is still unknown.”
