With hopes for her return, residents of Woodlands held a prayer meeting and vigil for Raymonde Boltman on Sunday 22 April.

Commemorating the two-year anniversary of her disappearance, residents came together to pray for her to be found.

The young mother disappeared without a trace while waiting for a bus to work on the morning of Friday 22 April 2016.

She had been dropped at the Clocktower bus stop at around 05:25.

The vigil was held in Watt Court, where Boltman lived.

“The family still express the hope that Raymonde will return to her very young daughter she left behind and to them. We all need to sustain that hope in prayer and by our presence, especially at times when the family is most in need of our support,” says Michael Jacobs who attended the

Earlier this year, police also increased the reward for information received from R10 000 to R50 000.

“The public is asked to assist police in the search of Raymonde Boltman who has been reported as missing since 20 April 2016. A cash reward of R50 000 has been made available for information that will lead to the whereabouts of Raymonde Boltman. At this stage, police have no leads or information on the case or her whereabouts,” says Captain Lance Goliath, cluster spokesperson.
