Water disruptions until February next year

2019-12-10 06:01

The City of Cape Town’s Water and Sanitation Department will do emergency repairs to replace valves, fire hydrants and leadings in the Fish Hoek, Sunnydale and Llandudno areas.

The repair work will result in the disruption of the water supply on certain days in the Pinetree Business Park in Sunnydale; 1st Avenue to 20th Avenue, Kommetjie Main Road, Nelson and Orlando Roads, Central Circle, Recreation and De Waal Roads in Fish Hoek; and Leeukoppie and Steenways Roads in Llandudno.

The work started on Tuesday 26 November and will only be completed by February. Water supply may be disrupted between 09:00 and 17:00 on certain days.

Residents are requested to store water in clean, sealed containers for use during this period.

All taps must be kept closed during this period to prevent any water loss or damage when the water supply is restored.
