Westgate Mall cellphone store robbed

Eight men robbed a local cellphone store on Wednesday morning making off with thousands of rands worth of merchandise.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Noloyiso Rwexana confirms to People’s Post that a case of business robbery is under investigation by Lentegeur police after the incident at Westgate Mall this morning.

“This morning at 10:50 suspects threatened the victims with a firearm and robbed them. The suspects fled the scene in two Toyota Avanzas with an undisclosed number of cellphones and cash,”  she says.

No arrests have been made.
