Why punish city’s water savers?

2018-05-15 06:00

In response to letters in People’s Post dated 8 May (“Shocking rates should not be water under the bridge” and “Civic objects to the proposed utilities increase”: I come in agreement with Mr Allie and Mr Bam – why is the City of Cape Town punishing the water savers of this city? After all they are the ones bringing in the revenue this city so badly need because of misappropriation of monies paid by truthful and honest tax payers.

Perhaps the City of Cape Town should change their slogan to “The City that works for the indigent and corrupters”.
