An interfaith women’s service was held at the Calvyn Protestant Church on Tuesday last week.

Women from all denominations came together at the church.

The service is held at various churches in Mitchell’s Plain every first Tuesday of the month.

The woman who heads up the initiative is Lorraine Williams of the Moravian Church in Westridge.

“What an honour for women from all churches to pray together and speak with one voice the gospel of Christ Jesus,” says Reverend Debbie Fransman of the Calvyn Protestant Church.

V The next interfaith women’s service will be held at the VGK Church in Park Avenue on Tuesday 1 November at 10:00.
