A small group of protesters have gathered, on the corners of Eros Way and Eisleben Road in Woodlands, burning tyres.

At this stage the group have begun to block off the street with tyres and rubble.

A resident at the scene says Law Enforcement officers removed some of their goods but they continued to burn tyres covered in accelerant.

The streets have been closed to traffic.

This follows a foiled land invasion nearby at the weekend where around 80 residents demarcated plots on a field, setting up tents. The tents were then removed by Law Enforcement officers.

This is a developing story.
