Be considerate, please

DEAR inconsiderate road users. It is heart-breaking to see the carnage on the roads in KwaZulu-Natal, in fact, all over South Africa. Every time you open the paper or watch the news, you see how many lives are lost due to speed and reckless driving. Yet, this still does not deter people from driving like lunatics.

A case in point is a silver Toyota that drives from past Southport towards Port Shepstone every morning. This person will flash every car in front of him or her until they move out of the way.

There are only a few places on this stretch of road with places to overtake, yet this person has no regard for other road users and doesn’t seem to care that the maximum speed limit is 60km/h on that entire road. Just because you are late for work, don’t put us all in danger with your reckless, dangerous driving. Leave five minutes earlier and let’s all arrive alive.
