Cansa re-establishes monthly support meetings

CANSA South Coast held a support group meeting on Saturday 1 August. Cansa spokesperson Sesethu Senene­ said they re-established the meeting which take place every month, which she said, they are very excited about as its means they will regularly communicate with survivors.

“As Cansa South Coast we are very excited about re-establishing the monthly support group meetings. A special thanks to our guest speaker, nutritionist Tasmia Desai­.

Senene invites more cancer survivors to attend the monthly meeting as they will be beneficial to them.

“We would like to invite cancer survivors, care givers and family members to attend these meetings.

“Our next support group meeting will be on 12 September at our offices,” she said.

Senene also invited volunteers to join them. “Anyone interested in volunteering is more than welcome to join us. Call 039 682 7680 for more information,” she said. - Supplied
