SOUTH COAST Cansa held free prostate screenings on Saturday at the Cansa offices in Port Shepstone in support of 67 minutes for Mandela Day.

Sesethu Senene from Cansa thanked all who supported the event.

“We as Cansa South Coast thank the men who attended our free prostate screening. We also thank our sponsors Ampath Laboratory and the South Coast Fever,” said Senene.

A total of 27 men were screened.

“We encourage the public to be proactive and get their annual screenings for prostate, breast and cervical cancer done,” she said.

Screenings are available at the Cansa offices in Port Shepstone, booking is essential.
