TWO men entered a house in Trafalgar­ armed with knives to rob a couple on Tuesday evening .

The couple fought back and both were stabbed in the process.

Their dog Honey jumped in to protect her owners and also got stabbed.

Kwazulu Private Ambulance paramedics arrived at the scene where they found the man and his wife with multiple stab wounds. Once the patients were treated the paramedics assisted by taking Honey to a vet in Port Edward who came out to stabilise her. She is currently recuperating there.
