Drama pupils to represent Ugu in provincials

INTERMEDIATE phase drama pupils at Marie Stella Primary in Oshabeni will represent the Ugu District at provincial level in Durban on 21 August.

The school will compete against schools from all over KZN.

Pupils recently won first prize in the district, competing against eight school in the circuit on 8 August at Olwandle High School in Gamalakhe.

Marie Stelle principal, Mavuso­ Mqadi, said they are very proud of this group.

“We are humbled and pleased as this shows that teaching and learning is taking­ place swiftly in our school as drama is part of the curriculum.

“I trust the pupils will do the district proud.”
