FORMER Port Shepstone High matric pupils Amy-Jane Harkess and Kathleen Stephens have recently been published in their respective creative fields.

Amy-Jane, Sheppie High’s 2011 deputy head girl, is currently a fourth- year B.Com journalism student specialising in communication and graphic design. Amy’s design for the Grahamstown Foundation Schools Festival was chosen and used on all communications for the festival.

Kathleen, who was in the executive council of pupils at Sheppie High in 2010, qualified at the University Cape Town with a BA honours in theatre making. Kathleen’s team, known as the “Papercut Collective”, wrote and produced UHM, an award-winning play that is being published as part of Junkets10, a collection of 10 plays to celebrate Junkets’ 10th birthday. - Supplied
