Horse owner appreciates support

2015-07-23 06:01

THE owner of the horse that was shot and killed by a South Coast farmer last year says she is grateful for the support shown by the public. “I would like to thank the public for their support as it has been hard,” said Amy Hemingway.

This comes after Stephen Brand appeared in the Ramsgate Magistrate’s Court two weeks ago. Brand paid a R10 000 settlement to Hemingway, which she has since donated to the Costal Horse Care Unit.

“I would like to say they are doing an amazing job at the care unit with horses. It is amazing to see what people are willing to do for horses,” said Hemingway.
