Licencing ‘kick-backs’ abound

2015-09-03 06:00

I ACCOMPANIED my friend to Umzinto Licencing Department to renew his driver’s licence with all the necessary documentation.

The photos were taken by an approved person that has been used by thousands for passports and licences for many years. They were rejected.

A second set was made and presented, but they were also rejected.

In desperation my friend was forced to make use of the man conducting an illegal photo business on municipal property next to the office for R60.

Hurrah, hurrah.F

Corruption rules again in Umzinto. I hope the staff in the licencing office spend their kick-back wisely.
