and#034;ART is something we live by. It is a passion as much as it is a livelihood. It is everything, because everything begins as a creative thought and then someone designs it and another makes it,and#034; said Esayidi TVET, Gamalakhe campus Expressive Arts first-year student Sgcino Ndlovu.

The group met at the Margate Museum recently for their practical exercise with the curator Siyakudumisa­ Sotsu and are looking to make and#034;a lot of moneyand#034; from their talent upon completing their studies.

and#034;There is a lot of potential for success and riches in art and that is where I want to go with this talent,and#034; said Senzo Mbele.

Their lecturer Sandile Sikobe agrees with this.

and#034;Art is different to other courses at colleges because you can become self-employed with it, moreover the course teaches students to use any material for their designs making it easy to start a business even on a small budget,and#034; said Sikobe.

More than just talent and passion, a career in fine arts requires hard work and dedication, he said.

and#034;Oneand#039;s success in the arts depends a lot on your vision and hard work because it requires attention and time, especially at first.and#034;

The course includes how to create 3D images and structuring and students get introduced to graphic designing on a computer
