SAPS killings, enough is enough

2015-10-15 06:00

IT seems as though criminals are no longer scared or terrified by the SAPS.

Every day we hear of one or more police officers being killed by criminals somewhere. These people are meant to protect us and if these killings don’t end, who will protect us?

Maybe the government needs to bring in the army to do the job.

Either South Africans unite and stand against police killings or the criminals will end up owning the streets - our streets.

Not only that, these people who are being slaughtered have families. Don’t criminals think about the pain the family of a SAPS member feels when they hear that their loved ones will no longer return to them.

Some SAPS members are the breadwinners, and orphans and widows are increasing rapidly because of this cruelty. Some may be enjoying this, but innocent and endangered citizens are really getting scared and tired of it.

Only the criminals who do this know why. Now it’s time they end it. If it was meant to be a joke, it’s no longer funny, but tearful.

South Africans must unite and fight this before it really gets further out of hand, if it hasn’t already.

Those with ears should hear, it is enough.
