THE Pink Couch, a fund-raising event which takes the form of a talk show, was held at Palm Manor in Umtentweni on Saturday.

The concept came from business woman, Tessa Green, and is powered by The WoW Factor Institute.

Green started the event after she realised how many women get caught up with reality and talk shows and love to talk and share experiences.

She gave it a twist and created the show with the aim of assisting organisations with their awareness campaigns.

As October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, she interviewed survivors and staff at Cansa lower South Coast and South Coast Hospice as well as others who could offer their advice and expertise on the topic.

The event was followed by a lucky draw, tea and cake and socialising
