THE Pink Drive visited Marburg Haven on Tuesday to educated women about the importance of early breast- cancer­ detection and conducting self-examinations.

Liz Book of the Pink Drive said that the organisation’s mission was to spread the word that early detection saves lives.

“We want to encourage everyone to get tested, to do self-examinations every month. It is so important to take care of your health,” she said.

Women were treated to beverages and snacks after the campaign and screenings
