SOUTH Coast Warriors first and second teams came out victorious against their Hillcrest counterparts this past weekend.

First team coach Christo Henderson had nothing but praise for his charges who beat Hillcrest 49-19, with the second team winning 38-0. “We are very blessed to have a great squad and support this year. The boys have been superb so far and we just need to keep working from game to game and not to think too far ahead.” During the match, flanker Dawie Durrheim suffered a suspected broken hand which means he may be out of action for a few weeks. The men of the match were Juandre Koekemoer (forward) and Theo Nicols (backline). Warriors play Westville Old Boys on Saturday at home in Douglas Mitchell, with the second team match kicking off at 2pm and first team at 3.30pm. - Supplied.
