SOUTH Coasters are invited to the annual South Coast Spring Wine Festival which starts today, 24 September and runs through to Wednesday 30 September.

The festival will be held at Riverbend Crocodile Farm in South Broom where 45 top wine estates will be exhibiting over 100 wines.

The festival will start with a celebration of the legacy of a master artist, Errol Boyley, who spent over 20 years living and painting in Ramsgate in the seventies and eighties.

Howard Kelly of Riverbend Crocodile Farm said the art exhibition, titled “Contemporary Realism Mastered” will take place on Thursday 24 September.

“The estates will be profiling more than 120 wonderful wines.

“Wine enthusiasts will be afforded the opportunity to taste these wines and order these wines at Cellar Door.

“Prices will be made available on the night,” said Kelly.

“Some of the estates that will be introducing their new wines include Neethlingshof, Glen Carlou, Nederburg and more,” he said.

Kelly said tickets are available at Riverbend Crocodile Farm at R120, which includes hot and cold snacks and a tasting glass.

The event will be fun with prizes to be won in a number of lucky draws.
