THE Maha Vishnu Temple in association with the Pro Vision Golf and Social Club will be partnering with the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) to hosts their annual golf day at the Port Shepstone Country Club on Sunday, September 2.

“The aim of our golf day is to raise awareness about cancer and to help those in need as well as raise funds for future temple initiatives. The golf day is open to the public to take part in,” said temple treasurer Krinesh Perumal.

Members are encouraging the public to be a part of the initiative, there will also be a candle lighting ceremony which will be held after the golf presentation.

“We are currently selling decorative candles for the candle lighting ceremony to honour those who have lost their fight against cancer and not forgetting those that are still fighting cancer,” said Perumal.

Candles are sold at R10 each and are available from temple members. To book your game of golf contact Preggie Perumal on 073 382 3220 and to purchase your candles contact Sagie Arjoon on 078 659 6116.

Candles can also be purchased from the Southcoast Mall this weekend.
