Angel in the licencing department

2016-03-03 06:00

I HAD to go to the licencing department for documentation and while trying to pay for the metered parking I realised I did not have the right coins.

The meter attendant allowed me to go in and pay on return. After completing my business I asked the lady behind the counter for R100 change so I could pay for the meter, but told me she didn’t have change.

She then gave me R6 from her own purse, which is the amount I needed for the parking meter. I was so amazed that I walked out wondering who she was.

I went back in and inquired about her name and she told me, Matha Dindikazi.

I thank her so much for her amazing generosity - it proves there are good Samaritans in our country.

Thank you Matha.
