MARGATE Art Museum’s friendly assistant has spread her wings and ventured into the beauty industry as she launched her new cosmetics store on Marine Drive in Margate on Friday.

Snegugu Pholoba who is known to many for her friendly face at the Margate Museum, was seen sharing her other love besides the arts at the launch of Simple Cosmetics Centre.

“Friends, family and patrons from all over the South Coast came out to support her.

The launch was well attended with refreshments and loud music jamming for entertainment.

Pholoba said this new venture has been an interest of hers for a long time.

“I have a deep interest in beauty products as it allows everyone to appreciate themselves better. My number one beauty tip is ‘keep it simple’. Be beautiful, but remain true to who you are by keeping it simple,” said Pholoba.
