DR Satish Prakash is an Arya Samaj scholar and founder of the cultural and educational centre in New York called Acharya of Maharshi Dayananda Gurukula.

He is also a Sanskrit, a literature lecturer and world traveller on a mission to educate via translation and commentaries on Sanskrit scriptures and literature.

Praksh was welcomed by the South Coast Hindu Cultural Federation at the Arya Samaj Hall in Port Shepstone last Friday and Saturday evening and lectured on how to promote Hinduism.

“Let us relinquish all that is painful and unrewarding and let’s cross over to the powers that are favourable and constructive.

“Let go of the painful and unrewarding and crossover to the favourable and constructive aspects,” Prakash said. He said the Bible, Quran, the Bhagavad-gita and other scriptures teaches us one thing.

“Be truly conscious of who you are, who your God is, who your fellow human beings are and what the nature of this world is.”
